Description
Turkish coffee is made by brewing very finely ground coffee. The beans are ground to an extremely fine powder, which is left in the coffee when served. To make the coffee, you bring the powdered coffee with water (and sugar if you desire) to the boil in this special pot, which is called a cezve in Turkey, or an ibrik. As soon as the mixture begins to froth, it is taken off the heat and served.
