It features 5 integrated spikes that securely hold your meat while carving, as well as a set of plastic guards to keep the spikes covered during storage. The raised middle surface allows the juices to drain away while you carve, and the lipped rim will give you a secure grip while you move the tray. You can pop the tray in the oven to keep the meat warm between servings.
