The adorable Appetito Blackbird Pie Funnel allows steam to escape when baking a pie, preventing the crust from cracking and the filling from spilling.

To use, first place the blackbird in the middle of the pie shell before filling. Put your pie filling in around the blackbird. Then drape the crust over the top of the beak, pushing down gently to allow the beak to break through.

Bake the pie as per recipe instructions. The blackbird will release steam during baking, stopping the filling from escaping.
