The Bridgwater mills have a stunning design that combines natural tones with classical materials for a timeless look and feel. Each mill is finished with a gold accent band to pull together the grey stained beechwood body and cast iron base. The weighty base gives each mill an air of gravitas, with the added bonus of helping them stay upright.
This salt mill uses Cole & Mason’s Precision+ grinding mechanism. Designed for optimum efficiency, the Precision+ mechanism uses alumina ceramic, which is non-wearing, resistant to clogging, and anti-corrosive, ensuring clean and consistent grinding for the lifetime of your mill. This mechanism cuts through the hardest of salts, including rock salt, with ease.
To refill, unscrew the S knob and remove the beechwood top.
To maximise the life of your mills, ALWAYS grind clockwise. Grinding anti-clockwise is not effective, and grinding back and forth will damage the mechanism.
We strongly recommend only using peppercorns and salt that are marked as suitable for grinders. Other varieties of salt or pepper, such as Himalayan pink salt, flaky salt, Kosher salt, red, green, or pink peppercorns, are not suitable for use with these grinders.
