Keep your knives in cutting edge condition with the Scanpan Classic 3 Step Sharpener. This sharpener features three distinct stages:
Stage 1 – Tungsten – For removing small burrs and nicks on the blade, creating a smoother overall surface
Stage 2 – Diamond – Creates a finer edge, preparing the surface for the final stage
Stage 3 – Ceramic – Finishes off your knife to give it a razor sharp edge.
For knives that haven’t been sharpened in 12 months or more, start with Stage 1. For sharpening every 2-3 months, start with Stage 2. For more regular sharpening, use Stage 3.
