Description
What a Chef’s knife is for European kitchens, the Santoku is for Japan: a highly versatile knife that can be used for mincing and chopping herbs, vegetables and fruit as well as for preparing fish and meat. The fine blade geometry of a Santoku allows you to make extremely delicate cuts with ease while being robust enough for regular everyday use.
Wusthof Ikon knives are forged from a single piece of chromium-molybdenum-vanadium steel. Each knife features a robust hygenic handle, a half bolster for easy sharpening and a second bolster on the butt of the handle for added weight and balance. Each Ikon knife is razor sharp thanks to Wusthof’s PETec laser-sharpening process.
58 HRC Rockwell.
Handwash recommended.
