Description
Create homemade nut milk from almonds, hazelnuts, or macadamias, with the Appetito Nut Milk Bags.
To make nut milk, you will need 1 cup of raw unsalted and unshelled nuts (almonds, hazelnuts, Brazil, pecans, macadamia, walnuts), 2 – 3 cups of filtered water for soaking the nuts, and 4 cups of filtered water for blending.
Instructions for use:
- Soak the nuts in 2-3 cups of filtered water overnight.
- Drain and discard the water.
- Blend nuts with 4 cups of filtered water until almost smooth.
- Strain the blended nut mixture using the Appetito Nut Milk Bag.
- Twist the top tightly to drain all the milk.
- Discard pulp, or save for adding to baked goods (such as crackers).
- Refrigerate. The milk will keep in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
