Description
The Bakemaster Dough Scoring Lame (pronounced lahm) is an essential tool in any keen bread maker’s toolkit. Scoring is when you cut a slash in the surface of the dough before you bake. When you place the dough in the oven, it rapidly expands! Scoring the loaf helps to prevent the loaf from cracking and gives the dough a helpful boost. If a loaf is under-proofed, scoring can help it open up while it bakes.
Handwashing recommended.
