Description
The name of this mug derives from the French for Physalis (also known as the Peruvian groundcherry) which is ‘Amour en Cage’, which translates as “Love in a Cage”. This beautiful design from artist Michele Aubourg depicts the Physalis in full bloom, the fruit cascading down the mug in warm rich shades of orange and red, contrasting with the cool natural greens of the vine.
