The Emile Henry Cheese Baker is ideal for preparing cheese to be served hot: melted brie-based appetizers, mini-fondues or a French ‘raclette’ style dinner. Whether it’s brie, mozzarella or goat cheese; simply place the cheese in the baker, add sweet or savory garnishes, close the lid and put in the oven. The practical lid helps keep the cheese moist and infuses flavours. Once baked, serve directly in the baker.
Handmade in France since 1850, each piece of Emile Henry bakeware is unique and signed by the craftsman that created it.
The special clay used in their creation comes straight from Burgundy and is used to make Emile Henry’s special formula HR® (High Resistance) ceramic. It heats evenly for gentle baking and browning, bringing out the most subtle flavours in your baking, and will keep your dishes hot for a long time after being removed from the oven. The supremely durable glaze resists scratches and will not chip, crack, or craze over time, nor will it absorb odours or flavours.
Allow your dish to cool down completely before cleaning. Do not pour cold water onto a hot dish as it may shatter from the thermal shock.
For stubborn baked on residue, soak in hot water and white vinegar before cleaning.
Emile Henry dishes are dishwasher safe but we recommend hand washing to maximise the life of your dish.
